Albert (1906)
A 12x10 negative. A bow view, taken from very fine off the port bow, of the general cargo spritsail rigged barge Albert (1906) under sail during a Thames or Medway Barge Match. She is a staysail barge and is on the starboard tack with her leeboards raised. She is flying the bob of Albert Hutson. The photographer is on board a paddle steamer which has just passed on the port side of the Albert (1906). A vertical format negative, this image was originally identified as the Ash (1907), which she most definitely is not.
