A half plate negative. A starboard bow view, taken from very fine off the bow, of the general cargo spritsail rigged barge Centaur (1899) under sail in the River Medway immediately after crossing the finishing line in first place in the Medway Barge Match. She is on the port tack, has a white jibsail and her Gill bobs are at the masthead and on the forestay. The barge astern flying
