A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the spritsail rigged general cargo barge Edith (1904) under sail in the Medway estuary during the Medway Barge Match. She is on the starboard tack and her leeboard is down. She has her race number 5 flag on her forestay. Her stem, upper wales and leeboard are painted white. In this race the Edith (1904) was placed third, nearly 3½ minutes behind the winner.
