Edith (1904)
A 12x10 negative. A starboard broadside view of the spritsail rigged general cargo barge Edith (1904) under sail in the Thames Estuary during the Medway Barge Match. She is on the starboard tack and her leeboard is raised. She has her race number 5 flag on her forestay. Her stem, upper wales and leeboard are painted white. In this race the Edith (1904) was placed third, nearly 3½ minutes behind the winner.
