Edith (1904)
A 12x10 negative. A starboard broadside view of the spritsail rigged general cargo barge Edith (1904) under sail in the Thames Estuary during the Medway Barge Match. She is on the port tack and her leeboard is down. She has her race number 5 flag on her forestay. Her stem, upper wales and leeboard are painted white. There is very slight image movement. In this race the Edith (1904) was placed third, nearly 3½ minutes behind the winner.
