Giralda (1897)
A half plate negative. A port broadside view of the general cargo spritsail rigged barge Giralda (1897) under sail during a Thames Barge Match. Her crew are in their racing white trousers and she has a number flag on her forestay. She is the starboard tack and her spinnaker is boomed out to starboard in light winds. Her foresail is limp and her leeboard is raised.
