Haughty Belle (1896)
A 12x10 negative. A distant bow view, taken from very fine off the port bow, of the spritsail rigged topsail barge Haughty Belle (1896) under sail in the Thames Estuary during the Thames or Medway Barge Match. She is equipped with iron racing leeboards and is flying flag number 7 from her forestay. Her hull is painted white and she has a white jib and foresail. Another barge is astern of her. A vertical format image.
