Haughty Belle (1896)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the spritsail rigged topsail barge Haughty Belle (1896) under sail in the Thames Estuary during the Thames or Medway Barge Match. She has white painted jib, fore and mizzen sails and a white painted hull. She is fitted with iron leeboards and has a number 7 flag on her forestay.
