Lord Nelson (1898)
A half plate negative. A starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the spritsail barge Lord Nelson (1898) under sail during the Thames Barge Match. She is in the Champion Topsail class and has the number 6 flag on her forestay. she finished second in her class, one minute and 20 seconds behind the Giralda (1897). A three masted wooden barque is at anchor in the right background.
