Loualf (1898)
A 12x10 negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the spritsail barge under sail during a Thames Barge Match, possibly in 1902. The crew are in their racing whites and the barge's number 2 race flag is fitted to the forestay. She is on the starboard tack. A steam vessel for the committee or spectators is on the right.
