Pastime (1890)
A half plate negative. A starboard quarter view, taken from fine off the stern, of the staysail rigged spritsail barge PASTIME (1890) under sail in the Thames Estuary during the Thames Barge Match. She has a white staysail and is flying a flag from her mizzen burton. Her crew are in racing whites. Other spritsail barges and accompanying spectator steamers are in the background. A vertical format negative with very slight image movement.
