Queen Alexandra (1902)
A half plate negative. A starboard side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the spritsail barge Queen Alexandra (1902) under sail in the Thames estuary during the running of the 1902 Thames Barge Match. She has her race number 6 flag on her forestay, her starboard lee board is down and she is on the starboard tack. Her crew are in their racing whites. Another spritsail barge is beyond her stern.
