Sara (1902)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the spritsail rigged general cargo barge Sara (1902) only just making headway of the starboard tack in the Thames or Medway Estuary during the Thames or Medway Barge Match. The crew are dressed in whites and she is flying her race number 9 flag from her forestay. She is almost becalmed in the very light wind.
