An unidentified spritsail barge racing in the Thames Estuary
A 12x10 negative. A starboard broadside view of an unidentified spritsail rigged general cargo topsail barge racing in the Thames Estuary during a Thames or Medway Barge Match. She has her number flag on her forestay. This barge was originally identified as the London registered Shamrock (1899) but it is not her. This barge's bob is a dark triangle on a white background and a similar bob was sometimes carried by the Giralda (1897).
