A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port quarter view of the spritsail rigged topsail barge Thelma (1901) under sail in the Thames Estuary during the Medway Barge Match of 1901 or 1911. She is on the starboard tack in a strong wind and tow other barges are in the background. she has the number 5 race flag on her forestay.
