Vectis (1895)
A 12x10 negative. A port quarter view of the spritsail rigged sailing barge Vectis (1895) under sail in the Thames Estuary during the Thames barge match. She is on the starboard tack, her crew are in whites and she has a number 11 on a dark flag on her forestay. An unidentified general cargo steamship is under way in ballast on the left of the picture. A vertical format image.
