Verona (1905)
A 12x10 negative. A port quarter view, taken from fine off the stern, of the spritsail rigged general cargo barge Verona (1905) under sail in Lower Hope, River Thames, during the Thames Barge Match. She is bound down on the port tack in light winds and her crew are in racing whites. Her race number flag is fitted to her forestay. The jetty of the Curtis's and Harvey Ltd chemical works at Cliffe is in the right background. A vertical format image.
