Unidentified Sailing Barge
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port broadside view of an unidentified bowsprit or coastal type of spritsail rigged general cargo barge under sail during a Thames or Medway Barge Match. Her crew are wearing white tops and she is in ballast. A number flag is on her forestay. This is the same barge as is shown in negative number G414 but the year is different. Her leeboard is raised and it has a dark strip of paint on the trailing edge.
