Unidentified Sailing Barge
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port broadside view of an unidentified bowsprit or coastal type of spritsail rigged general cargo barge under sail during a Thames or Medway Barge Match. Her crew are wearing white tops and she is in ballast. A number flag is on her forestay. This is the same barge as is shown in negative number G35 but the year is different. Her leeboard is lowered and it is painted in one colour. Another spritsail barge is on the left and a tug and a stackie barge are on the right.
