Thames Barge Match 1903

A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard broadside view of spritsail barges under sail in the Thames estuary during the Thames Barge Match. They are tacking downriver in a strong north-north-east wind. The nearest four barges are said to be, from left to right, the Genesta (1903), Sara (1902), Thelma (1901) and Giralda (1897).
