Greenwich Hospital
Plate 13 from a series. A rustically fanciful view from the Isle of Dogs, with a Naval sailor and his lass in the foreground and anglers on the right. The breeze is taking vessels down stream but those coming up are flat-aback and possibly 'tiding up' on the flood. The old Greenwich waterfront round Fisher Lane (unseen behind) is on the right and the low west range of the King Charles Court is Wren's original one, replaced by Yenn twenty years after this print.
