An unidentified Gravesend bawley
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port broadside view of an unidentified Gravesend bawley under sail in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has a crew of two and is heading upstream. She is of the early clinker built type with no decking. Tilbury is in the background and the Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV.28 (1847) is drawn up on shore in the centre.
