This image originally appeared as plate 5, p.20 in 'Trotter's Selected Illustrated Topography of Thirty Miles around London' (1839), where it bore the artist and engraver credits (left and right under the image) and the title also in French and German in the lower corners. This might be a coloured proof or more likely a later printing with these feature removed. [PvdM 9/05]
