Greenwich Hospital. From an Original Drawing by Holland
An engraving from a London series, probably of the 1830s, and related to Holland's more elaborate drawing in the collection, PAH3253. The latter takes a more panoramic view and has a far greater level of staffage but shares some of the details, for example the boat on the left and some of the fishing gear on the right. Drawing PAD2258 is also related but is weakly executed and more likely to be derived from the print than its source.
