Unidentified cutter rigged yacht
A half plate negative. A slightly distant port quarter view, taken from very fine off the stern, of a large unidentified cutter rigged yacht under sail in the lower reaches of the Thames or Medway, possibly on the day of a barge match. The yacht is running before a light breeze with the gaff mainsail set to port and the large spinnaker boomed out to starboard. She has two boats swung out in davits. A number of barges and other yachts are in the background. A vertical format image.
