A half-length portrait of George Anson (1697–1762) in flag officer’s undress uniform, 1748–1767, engraved in outline. Lettered beneath the image with the title: ‘Anson.’ This portrait was engraved after Jacob Houbraken’s print of a portrait drawn from the life by Jan Wandelaar (see PAD4667). (Updated May 2019.)
Technique includes etching.
