Fowey, Cornwall
River Fowey looking north from high ground above Bodinnick. Three
sailing vessels, the outboard of which may be named DIANA, are moored awaiting cargo, with two laden dumb barges astern. Mixtow is on the right and china clay loading jetties are on the left bank extending as far as the eye can see. The riverside trees of Golant Woods have been cleared to make way for these jetties and the associated railway sidings. Francis Frith & Co negative no. 69763.
