Looking north-west from high ground south of Instow. Instow village
is on the right and across the River Torridge is Appledore, with many ships alongside its quays. Three deep-sea sailing ships are anchored in the River Taw estuary and Braunton Sands lighthouse is in the extreme distance. Francis Frith & Co negative no. 33507.
