A view of the River Wye with the Great Western Temperance Hotel on
the left and the railway station in the centre. A number of rowing skiffs are moored to the bank. Dimly discernible on the right bank is a woman sitting in a punt waiting to cross the river by a ferryman using the overhead rope to haul the punt across. Francis Frith & Co negative no. 42734.
