Looking south-east from Warren Hill over the harbour. Open-topped
motor coaches are on the quayside beyond the pavilion. Vane Hill is on the left and ships of the Atlantic Fleet are at anchor in Torbay in the distance. Battleships NELSON and RODNEY and 3 IRON DUKE class, the battlecruisers RENOWN and REPULSE, the aircraft carrier FURIOUS, two cruisers, a destroyer and a tug are in the picture. The date is in the period 4 to 10 July. Francis Frith & Co negative no. 81103 cracked.
