Buffalo (1885)
A whole plate negative. A fair quality slightly distant starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Buffalo (1885) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. she has four yards on each of her fore and main masts and none on her mizzen and jigger masts. She is flying the U.S.A. flag at the foremast and her houseflag at the mainmast. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background. The inmage is slightly unsharp.
