British King (1881)
A whole plate negative. A poor quality slightly distant starboard side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner British King (1881) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on each of her foree and main masts and none on her mizzen and jigger masts. A twin funnelled tug is alongside her port side aft. Tilbury is in the background. The image is slightly unsharp.
