A half plate negative. A starboard broadside view of an unidentified passenger/cargo short sea liner under way in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, bound down. She is a raked single funnel and raked two masted vessel with three holds, one lifeboat per side between the funnel and the mainmast a boat on number two hatch. She has a straight stem and a counter stern. She is not loaded to her marks and a small boat is being towed alongside her pilot ladder amidships. Tilbury is in the background.
