An oval bust-length portrait of Samuel Hood (1724–1816) in rear-admiral’s undress uniform, 1767–83, and a wig. Lettered beneath the image with the title and the publication line, ‘The Right Honble. Samuel Lord Hood, Rear Admiral of the Blue &c. &c. &c. / Published According to the Act of Parliament, May the 10th 1783 by J. K. Sherwin No. 28 St James’s Street.’ This print was published by John Keyse Sherwin in 1783. (Updated May 2019.)
