Ophir (1891)
A 10x8 negative. A slightly distant starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Ophir (1891) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is flying the blue peter and the passenger ferry Tilbury (1883) is alongside. Tilbury is in the background. A copy negative made by the museum of a photographic print produced from the original Gould 12x10 glass plate negative which has been broken and discarded.
