Oval brass tobacco box engraved on lid and base. Engraving of the Grim Reaper with a skeleton at his feet holding a sandglass aloft, approaching an old man seated nearby. Engraving of an Eastern Potentate being presented with a human head on the base with the date 'Anno 1607'. Interior plain except for perpetual calendar on inside of lid.
