A spritsail barge in boisterous weather

A half plate negative. A fair quality, distant starboard bow view of a general cargo spritsail rigged staysail barge under sail on the port tack in boisterous weather in the Thames estuary. Her hull amidships is hidden by spray. Another staysail barge is well astern of her. This negative may have been taken during a Thames or Medway Barge Match but information is lacking.
