Rohilla (1880) or Verona (1879)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard broadside view of a Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co passenger/cargo liner under way in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, bound down. This is either the Rohilla (1880) or the Verona (1879) and she has two yards on her foremast and an awning rigged aft. Her accommodation ladder is still down. Tilbury Docks are in the background.
