Oroya (1886)
A 12x10 negative discarded circa 1960. The image was a starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Oroya (1886) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, with yards on her foremast and with short funnels. Prior to the negative being discarded it had been printed and also photographed on 35 mm film (negative number 58/4455). The print is poor quality as it shows the fractured and peeling emulsion.
