A 10x8 negative. A starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner India (1881) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has two yards on her foremast, an awning is rigged ahead of the bridge and a number of people are gathered on deck aft. Tilbury Docks are in the background.
