Golconda (1887)
A 12x10 negative. A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Golconda (1887) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on each of her fore and main masts. Her pilot ladder is deployed and the paddle tug Prince (1859) is alongside aft. Tilbury is in the background. The emulsion has peeled off and the negative has been discarded but a photographic print made prior to the deterioration is available for copying or scanning.
