Mercury thermometer (10 inches) in a wooden mount with a wire hanging hook. Graduated from 30 to 210 degrees Fahrenheit.

Believed to have been used to measure the ambient temperature within the Geomagnetism Unit of the Royal Greenwich Observatory at Herstmonceux.
