The tug Champion (1892)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the screw tug Champion (1892) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. Nine members of the crew and a dog are looking at the camera man. She has an awning rigged over her bridge and she is flying her house flag and name pennant. Tilbury is in the background. The original 12x10 glass negative was broken and a 5x4 copy negative, given the number A8571C, has been made from the original 12x10 photographic print.
