The screw tug Australia (1882)
A 12x10 negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the screw tug Australia (1882) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. she has been rebuilt with a single funnel. Her boat is on a painter astern. Tilbury is in the background. The original negative has been broken and discarded. A half plate copy negative number P8535 has been made from a 12x10 photographic print produced in the 1950s from the original negative before it was damaged.
