Alexandrina (1864)
A whole plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted barque rigged vessel Alexandrina (1864) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and royals and she has a windsail rigged at the foot of the mizzen mast. She is lightly laden. Tilbury is in the background. The negative has been broken and discarded. A 12x10 photographic print from this negative has been copied and given the negative number G1640. Negative number G2296 was taken on the same occasion.
