Loch Ard (1873)
A whole plate negative. A starboard broadside view of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Loch Ard (1873) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is well laden and is rigged with double topsails on all three masts, double topgallants of fore and main, a single topgallant on the mizzen and a single royal on the main. She has painted ports and the paddle tug Robert Bruce (1865) is alongside. Tilbury is in the background. This negative has been broken and discarded. A 12x10 photographic print from this negative has been copied and given the negative number A9162.
