Oruba (1889)
A negative of a painting of the passenger/cargo liner Oruba (1889). She is depicted from off the starboard beam while under way in a rough sea. She is shown with four masts and short funnels between 1889 and the mid 1890s. A duplicate of negative number G9. G1378 was allocated to this negative prior to printing and cataloguing. After printing but before cataloguing this negative was misplaced and has never been located. The 12x10 photographic print is available for scanning.
