Peshawur (1871)
A whole plate negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Peshawur (1871) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has two yards on her foremast. Tilbury is in the background. The negative has deteriorated, become unprintable and has been discarded. A 12x10 photographic print made in the 1950s shows a significant amount of emulsion damage and is not worth scanning.
