A whole plate negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Gothic (1893) under way in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, bound up. A small steam launch is under way offshore. This is a copy of negative number G75 but the emulsion has lifted and the negative has been discarded. A 12x10 photographic print produced in the 1950s is available for scanning.
