Rewa (1882)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Rewa (1882) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has a brig rig and windsail ventilators are rigged forward. A large tent has been erected on deck ahead of the bridge. Tilbury is in the background. The original glass plate negative has peeled off and been discarded but a 12x10 photographic print produced in the 1950s is available for scanning. Negatives numbers G1722, G1967, G2204 and G2205 were taken on the same occasion.
